Originally from the tranquil town of Heseke, Muzoon’s life takes a tumultuous turn with the outbreak of the Syrian civil war. Nevertheless, her parents strongly believe that education is the key to reshaping the destinies of their children amidst the chaos. Despite the hardships, they insist that Muzoon and her siblings continue their studies, seeking a glimmer of hope for the future.

One indelible moment in Muzoon’s life unfolds at the age of 14, within the confines of a refugee camp. In these challenging circumstances, many girls halt their education due to early marriages and pregnancies. Yet, Muzoon and her family steadfastly support her continued education, transforming her into an advocate within the refugee camp. She becomes a source of inspiration for other girls and families, a guiding light breaking through the darkness, encouraging the pursuit of educational rights for women.
